Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Promote lifecare provides SIL supports which are flexible and tailored to meet individual needs. We help with and/or supervision of daily tasks to develop the skills of an individual to live as independently as possible. We have long experienced staff who can assist with daily activities such as personal care, transportation, meal preparation, and other housekeeping. These supports are provided to NDIS participant in their home, regardless of property ownership, and can be in a shared or individual arrangement promoting their choice and control.We provide with the right support and services and enable a person to live in their own home and be as  independent as possible.

Respite / Short term Accommodation

Short Term Accommodation or Respite care is a way of having a break from caring while the person you care for is looked after by another career/ person. This also means that the NDIS participant can stay in a short-term accommodation and be cared for while you can go on a holiday. This may help you focus on other things, like your social life and general wellbeing.

We work closely with the persons to ensure that they are happy and receive a service that meets their exact needs. This is the reason we offer flexible, tailor made and personalized care service. We recognize each person as offer them service that reflect this.

Support Coordination

We helps people with disabilities to access and coordinate the supports they need to live as independently as possible. Our experienced support coordinators team  assists people to understand their NDIS plan, develop and implement their goals, find service providers, and coordinate their supports.

We also help to identify, access, and coordinate services and supports to achieve Participant’s goals and objectives. Our support coordinators help with planning, decision-making, and connecting people to the right services and supports taking consideration to the individual’s needs, preferences, and interests when helping them to access the supports they require.

Social and community Support

Social interaction and community engagement are important aspect of living a full and meaningful life. That’s why we believe in supporting you to connect and participate in your own community each day. We work closely with you and your support networks to identify community-based activities you are most interested in doing, goals you would like to achieve and the best way to achieve them. From there, we design community participation programs that support you to reach those goals.

Our experienced staff are highly skilled in working with a diverse range of disabilities, including those with complex needs and are able to work with you and your loved ones to ensure all outings and activities meet your goals and needs. We ensure that our clients are empowered and have more control and choice over their lifestyle

Transportation

We provide transportation support to maintain your independence by supporting you to access various services, programs and activities in your local community. This includes but not limited to:

  • School, TAFE or other educational facility
  • Medical appointments
  • Social outings
  • Shopping
  • Visits with family and friends
  • Programs and community events
